Its a south facing slope, which to some extent mitigates the vineyards altitude. Dancers parcel was planted in 1996. The white marl, pure limestone soils (quite different from the more clay rich soils of Dancers other red sites) and altitude bring more red fruit perfume, coolness, delicate fruit and powdery, fine structure.
